A loose granular material that results from the disintegration of rocks, consists of particles smaller than gravel but coarser than silt.  This material can be yellowish to gray at our borrow pit Tampa, Florida.

Sand used for septic systems or similar functions have a few different specifications. Our septic sand material is available for testing prior to buying.  Our material drains at 15-24 ft per day.

Top Soil

 

This material is the upper, outermost layer of soil, usually the top 2 inches to 8 inches. Our topsoil has the highest concentration of organic matter and is where most of the Earth’s biological soil activity occurs.
